Empress / E-max Kuron (Full Porselen), içinde metal alt yapı bulunmayan, tamamen seramikten üretilen bir kuron türüdür. E-max (lityum disilikat) ve Empress gibi cam seramikler, doğal diş minesine benzer biçimde ışığı geçirip yansıttığı için özellikle ön dişlerde çok doğal bir görünüm sağlar. Metal destekli kuronlarda zamanla görülebilen diş eti kenarındaki gri çizgi bu kuronlarda oluşmaz. Yüksek estetik beklenen tek diş kuronları ve kaplamalar için uygundur; çok üyeli köprü gibi yüksek kuvvet gereken bazı durumlarda ise farklı malzemeler tercih edilebilir. Diş yapınıza uygunluk hekiminiz tarafından değerlendirilir.
Zirkonyum kuron, zirkonyum oksitten üretilen, metal içermeyen dayanıklı bir diş kaplaması. Zarar görmüş, renklenmiş ya da şekli bozulmuş dişin görünümünü ve işlevini geri verir. Bu yapı, hem sağlamlık hem de estetik gerektiren durumlarda; arka dişlerde, köprülerde ve görünür bölgelerde tercih edilebilir. Tabakalamalı zirkonya, monolitik (tek parça) zirkonyaya göre daha doğal görünebilir; tek parça zirkonya ise daha yüksek kuvvete dayanıklıdır. Metal Destekli Porselen Kuron (MDP), metal bir alt yapının üzerine porselenin işlendiği, uzun yıllardır kullanılan klasik bir kuron türüdür. İçteki metal iskelet sağlamlık ve dayanıklılık sağlar; dış yüzeydeki porselen ise diş rengine uygun bir görünüm verir. Sağlam yapısı sayesinde arka dişlerde ve köprülerde güvenle kullanılabilir, tam seramik seçeneklere göre genellikle daha ekonomiktir. Öte yandan içteki metal ışığı geçirmediği için görünüm, E-max ya da zirkonya gibi metal içermeyen kuronlar kadar saydam olmayabilir; zamanla, özellikle diş eti çekilirse, diş eti kenarında ince bir gri çizgi belirebilir.
